Nollywood star Yomi Fabiyi has shared his thoughts about the mind your business nature in today’s society. The actor in a post shared on his Instagram page explained that “I stay in my lane, I mind my business” has encouraged a lot of oppression in today’s society.
The actor shared that people who have this attitude expect others to come to their aid when they have issues forgetting that if everyone was like them the society will be destroyed. The filmmaker said when people and communities are raised with the right values they understand the importance of turning up when the other is weak.
He explained that Nigerian society is decayed is because many are raised to always place trouble or faults at the feet of whoever tries to help any spineless or oppressed person. Yomi stated that he will always stand by what is right and continue to rise above envy or hate.
