“I No Longer Believe In Decisions Coming Out Of Buhari’s Leadership” El-Rufai

The Kaduna State governor, Nasir El-Rufai has again come hard on the presidency, saying he no longer believes in the leadership of President Muhammadu Buhari.

El-Rufai made the statement in an interview with Premium Times, the governor declared that though he still believes in Buhari, he no longer trusts those working around him.

“I believe in Buhari, I still do and I will never stop, but I no longer believe in the circle around him and the quality of decisions and actions coming out of that leadership,” El-Rufai said.

This is the latest in the controversy that has ensued within the All Progressive Congress (APC). Remember the governor had earlier made a statement amidst the naira and fuel scarcity that some elements in the presidency are working against the party’s presidential candidate in the forth coming election, Bola Ahmed Tinubu.


“Most of the people in the villa are not members of our party. I believe there are elements in the villa that want us to lose the election because they didn’t have their way,” El-Rufai had said.

“They had their candidates, and their candidates didn’t win the primaries and I think they are still trying to get us to lose the election and they are hiding behind the president’s desire to do what he thinks is right.”

El-Rufai vowed that those in Tinubu’s camp would defeat and unmask the cabals working against the party interest in due time.
