I Made More Than 200m For My Former Record Label – Solidstar Fires Back

Singer Solidstar has reeled out some of his achievements and success while he was with his former record label, claiming he made more than 200 million naira for the company.
Recall that as a battle ensued between the singer and Ossy Achievas about royalties, his former boss, the latter called him out for being unproductive in the 10 years he signed him. He alleged that the singer did not generate 10% of the N100m he invested in his career in the years they worked together, adding that the singer is owing to him though they parted ways peacefully in 2017.I Made More Than 200m For My Former Record Label - Solidstar Fires Back
Firing back, though subtly, the Shaba crooner said this in an Instagram post in what seems like a return match to a diss. He disclosed how he had to make 50 million naira annually from shows and how much he’d made from collaborations and singles alike.
Solidstar further noted that his songs were not promoted internationally, despite promotion was cheap and at such, the record label did not spend so much of all what he made for the company.

He further accused the label of persuading him to renew his contracts at the expiration of each as they know what he brings brings in for them. At the end of his outpour, Solidstar gave a hit that there may be a problem or say lies leveled against him after the 10 years he spent with the record label.
