“I Hope Your Mama Children Plenty” Yetunde Bakare Speaks To Nigerians Planning Protest

Yoruba actress, Yetunde Bakare has dished out words of advice to Nigerians planning to protest the victory of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the just concluded presidential election.

Recall that the INEC Chairman, Professor Mahmood Yakubu, announced Tinubu as the winner at the International Collation Centre in Abuja during the early hours of Wednesday.  Tinubu got victory after he polled 8,794,726 votes to win the 2023 presidential election.

The star actress reminded aggrieved people who might be planning to protest INEC result about personal circumstances that could be adversely affected by participating in protests. She outlined issues such as having dependents, being financially secure, and having access to legal representation before taking to the street.

Yetunde Bakare also highlighted the harsh reality that for many individuals in Nigeria, their next meal depends on their daily income.

“Before you join them to cause Civil Unrest …. I hope your mama Children plenty ? I hope you’re well connected and can afford a Very Good Lawyer that can defend you against Federal Government also Incase it’s leads to a week or 2 lockdown, hope you and your family won’t starve … Remember some people’s next meal depends on their daily income 😓👌”

In her post, Bakare also urged Nigerians to think rationally and make wise decisions before engaging in activism. She emphasized the need to weigh the benefits and risks of participating in protests and be aware of the potential personal and societal consequences.
