Nigerian singer Charles Chukwu popularly known as Crayon has come out to reveal one of the biggest sacrifices had to make so as to be committed to his music career.
Crayon said that he hasn’t gone back home to see his parents since 2017 and that it’s because he’s a dream chaser although he misses them so much. The Ijo laba laba corner revealed this in a tweet on Tuesday.
He is currently signed to an imprint of Mavin Records; Blowtime Entertainment, owned by producer, Baby Fresh. He made his first appearance in Mavin’s All in order, featuring Don Jazzy, Korede Bello, DNA, and Rema.
Charles originally hails from Ebonyi state but grew up in the Iba area in Lagos State.
Well, it seems Don Jazzy also shares the same sentiments as Baby Fresh, as he had this to say after the signing of Crayon. He said; “We are pleased to announce our new imprint deal with Baby Fresh’s Blowtime Entertainment as we unveil our new artist, Crayon.
“Baby Fresh has always been part of the Mavin family and we look forward to what is shaping up to be a remarkable stage of his amazing career. Crayon is an exceptional songwriter and recording artist who comes with a lot of diversity in his music and I am sure that we will attain great things together.”
