Dr Olusegun Obasanjo, an elder statesman and former President, Federal Republic of Nigeria has expressed uncertainty about the Independent National Electoral Commission’s ability to conduct a free and fair election, come February, 2019.
In his letter published today titled ‘Points For Concern and Action’, he reviews the status of democracy in Nigeria and the potholes of the current administration, and says he doubts the present INEC’s integrity, impartiality and competence to conduct a fair, free and credible election.
