Ed Sheeran and Justin Bieber have dropped their duet I Don’t Care, and we can guarantee this will be stuck in your head all weekend.
The stars confirmed their collaboration would be dropping on Friday, and they didn’t break their promise, with the lyric video already having half a million views on YouTube.
The upbeat track hears the lads singing about being at a party and feeling awkward AF – which we relate to hard. But they come around to the idea of the social situation because their ‘baby’ is there with them – singing ‘I don’t like nobody but you, I hate everyone here’. Justin, 25, sings about his struggle with anxiety on his verse, seemingly singing to wife Hailey Baldwin as he croons: ‘With all these people all around, I’m crippled with anxiety, but I’m told it’s where I’m supposed to be, you know what? It’s kind of crazy ’cause I really don’t mind, when you make it better like that.’
Meanwhile, Ed, 28, is paying tribute to wife Cherry Seaborn, singing: ‘You know I love you did I ever tell you, you make it better like that.’ The track is produced by Shellback, FRED and pop mastermind Max Martin – the man behind hits including Backstreet Boys’ I Want It That Way, Britney Spears’ Baby One More Time and Taylor Swift’s Blank Space – so you know they’ve got a hit on their hands. Now, we’re gonna need a real video, lads.
