‘I Did Not Bribe Oshiomhole’- Dapo Abiodun Cries Out

The Governorship Candidate of the All Progressive Congress Dapo Abiodun, in Ogun state has come out to debunk allegations that he bribed the APC national party chairman Adams Oshiomhole, to doctor the results of the parties governorship primaries in the state. The APC governorship  candidate on Friday November 16, made this know in a statement made by his assistant media director, Emmanuel Ojo. After stating that the allegations were untrue, the governorship aspirant went on to praise the party national chairman for his steadfastness and unwavering stand on due process.   The statement reads;“Finally, we advise the general public to discountenance this propaganda against Abiodun as there is no iota of truth in the apparently sponsored report which is targeted at blackmailing him and putting in jeopardy his political aspiration.We wish to state further that this allegation is a figment of the imagination of those making the claims, while we continue to commend the strict, fair and incorruptible nature of the Comrade Adams Oshiomole leadership. Finally, we advise the general public to discountenance this propaganda against Abiodun as there is no iota of truth in the apparently sponsored report which is targeted at blackmailing him and putting in jeopardy his political aspiration.” Photo Credit: Getty
