Former Minister of Aviation, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode who recently just defected from the national opposition party to the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), to the National ruling party the APC, which it has consistently over the last 6-years blasted, criticized and insulted at every opportunity has slammed the idea that he dropped the umbrella party for the broom party for financial reasons and gains.
FFK as he is fondly referred to slammed the idea that he defected from the PDP to APC because he was broke and for financial gains. Femi Fani-Kayode made this clarification during an interview on Thursday evening while speaking with Seun Oni, on Channels TV Politics Today, where he responded to the criticism of his defection and saying it is for finance-related reasons.

FFK slammed Seun saying he was expecting such a statement from him and that it is a statement or presumption that could have only been made by a person with a small brain and low IQ. He said if it was for financial gains he would have done it a long time ago, but as a politician, he didn’t move for financial reasons. He then went on to ascribe that such a criticism is as such one that is usually made by people of a particular region of the country.
