“I Cut My Hair In Honour Of Those Who Died During #EndSARS Protest” — Omawumi Reveals

Singer Omawumi has finally revealed the reason behind her lowcut as she debuted the new look a few months ago. The singer finally explained this while speaking in a new interview.

The Vocal powerhouse shared that she did it because of the pain she felt from the loss of lives during the pandemic and the EndSARS protests last year. According to the singer, she felt so much pain that people were dying and the country was busy celebrating mediocrity. She noted that many people were dying and nothing felt right in the country and she wanted a fresh start.

A few months ago she dropped a new album that featured a number of heavyweights in the music industry reminding us why she is one of the best vocalists in the country. The new project features rapper Phyno, Brymo Ric Hassani, and her bestfriend Waje.
