Immediately after his club side game against PSG in the Champions his first every participation in the competition Jude Odion Ighalo makes a passionate emotional plea to the UK, U.S and E.U governments to please help out with the ongoing political crises in Nigeria.
The Ex-Super Eagles striker who was obviously downtrodden and over the last few days tried as much as possible not meddle with the political situation in Nigeria. He was forced to speak up after seeing what happened last night in Nigeria when military operatives took to the streets of Lekki and opened fire on peaceful protesters who did nothing but demanded peace and freedom to live without fear of police harassment and brutality.Â
Ighalo spoke with pain in his voice as he couldn’t even celebrate Man United’s biggest win of the season so far as they defeated PSG 2 goals to 1 away at Parc Des Princes. All he could think of was his brothers and sisters back home being killed by the very same security mechanism meant to protect them.
