“I Believe In Rotational Presidency In Nigeria” – Gov Abdullahi Sule

Nasarawa State Governor Abdullahi Sule gives his thoughts about rotating the presidency of Nigeria amongst the different geo-political zones of the country. Nasarawa State Governor Abdullahi Sule

The Nasarawa state Governor who said this ahead of the 2023 general elections in an interview on Channels Television, also revealed that he is a beneficiary of rotation in his emergence as the governor of the North-Central state, Nasarawa.

Though the Governor did well to clarify that his statement is a private opinion and isn’t the view of the All Progressive Congress (APC) his party, the national ruling party. In the words of Gov Abdullahi Sule, he said;

“I believe in the rotational presidency in Nigeria, I strongly believe in that.
“This is my view, it is not the view of the All Progressives Congress (APC) governors.”
