South Korean multinational automotive manufacturers both headquartered in Seoul, Hyundai and KIA are set to establish their assembly parts in the Federal Republic of Ghana.
This is coming a few days after Germany announced it is situating its West African Centre for Global Health in the country and Twitter, its African headquarters.
The nation’s Minister of Minister of Trade & Industry Alan John Kwadwo Kyerematen, announced this via his official Twitter handle, revealing that the establishment will be joining those of Toyota-Suzuki, Nissan, Kantanka, Volkswagen & Sinotruck.

“Pleased to announce that Hyundai & KIA are set to establish assembly plants in Ghana by the end of 2022 to join Toyota-Suzuki, Nissan, Kantanka, Volkswagen & Sinotruck. The Ghana Auto Development programme = 3,600 assembly & 6,600 manufacturing parts jobs in Ghana”, he tweeted.
