A company in Dubai Shirley Recruitment Consultants has exempted Nigerians from applying to one of its jobs vacancies.
This is coming after the arrest of Nigerian big boys Hushpuppi and Woodbery, alongside 10 other cyber fraudsters who have swindled people across the world of their monies by Dubai Police in an operation dubbed Fox Hunt 2.
Shirley Recruitment Consultants announced a vacancy for the recruitment of Merchandisers and in the details, stated clearly that all African nationales both male and female can apply for the job except Nigerians. The recruitment agency did not state the reason for the exemption but it is believed that it bothers down to Hushpuppi’s arrest. Recall that Abike Dabiri-Erewa, the Chairman, Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, NiDCOM had hinted on such aftermath, saying the fraudsters’ crimes and lifestyle of flaunting is a dent to Nigeria’s image as a people.
