Husband Killer: Sudden Disappearance Of Prosecution Witness Postpones Maryam Sanda’s Murder Trial

The absence of a prosecution witness postponed the murder trial of Maryam Sanda and three other suspects (Mrs Maimuna Aliyu, Maryam’s mother, Aliyu Sanda, the brother and Sadiya Aminu, the housemaid) before Justice Yusuf Halilu of the FCT High Court, Jabi.
The other three suspects were accused of assisting Maryam in carrying out the murder of Bilyaminu Bello, her late husband and the son of a former PDP Chairman, Mr Haliru Bello, on Nov 19th 2017.
Justice Yusuf adjourned for continuation of trial until April 19 and April 20, at the instance of the prosecution counsel, when Mr James Idachaba (the man who was supposed to produce the witness) said the witness he intended to present could no longer be sighted.
