Hoodlums Attacks Ogun State House Of Assembly, Steal Mace

Some people, suspected to be hoodlums have attacked the Ogun State House of Assembly, and carted away the symbol of authority.
This was reportedly confirmed by the Police spokesperson in the State, Abimbola Oyeyemi, though the reason for the invasion is yet unknown.
According to Channels Television, Oyeyemi reported that the suspected people broke into the House in the early hours of today, and took away the mace.

He noted that though the coat of the arm on the mace has been recovered, the stick is still missing. Oyeyemi further added that investigations have been launched to unravel those who are behind the incident and the motive behind their action. Photos Credit: Getty
