Hisbah Arrests About 11 For Not Fasting In Kano

The Kano State Hisbah Board has arrested about 11 individuals in the state for not fasting as they were caught eating in the daytime during the Holy month of Ramadan.
Recall that the Hisbah board is known for enforcing religious righteousness in the State and blocking out all appearances  of  Shaytan. It had once demolished a hotel said to be hosting a nude party.Kano Hisbah Board
Officials of the board has also been reported to have conducted a  house to house search in order to fish out sinners in the State and this s arrest seems not to be a new thing. As reported by SaharaReporters, the Director General of the Hisbah board, Dr. Aliyu Musa Kibiya, said those arrested in different parts of the state included three males and eight females.

“We will investigate and if they have cogent reasons we will release them. Those found wanting will however be enlightened and even prosecuted if need be”, the media reported Dr. Kibiya said. He reportedly added that a woman should not be seen eating in public during fasting for whatever reason, promising that the board will arrest anyone found to be eating during the day. “Fasting is compulsory for healthy, adult Muslims in the month of Ramadan except for the travellers, menstruating women or old people”, he reportedly added.TRENDING VIDEO OFF THE DAY: Nigeria’s Jare Ijalana Is The Most Beautiful Girl In The World
