Hilarious! New Kogi State Commissioner Of Police Ran Away Without Taking Over

What was supposed to be a calm handing over ceremony in at the Kogi State Police Command in Lokoja yesterday turned-out to be another one-of-a-kind dramatic moment, as the incoming Commissioner of Police, Esa Sunday Ogbu, was not available for handover.
The chain of events that actually led to the shocking drama cannot be demystified yet as the outgoing Commissioner of Police, Ali Jaga, was on ground with the Assistant Inspector General of Police Zone 8, preparing to hand over to the new Commissioner of Police.
But according to Daily Post, the incoming commissioner of police literally ran for his life after he was reportedly earlier threatened to flee the state a day before his resumption. Sources claimed that the Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello, reportedly told him to leave the state.
This drama has definitely not ended. Remember that the incoming Commissioner of Police was the former national head of the dreaded SARS group. We can be 100% sure of one thing. Esa Sunday Ogbu will return to Kogi state with a league of wild fire walking behind him.
