Bukola Saraki presents Super Eagles with cash gift ahead of clash with England

Senate President of Nigeria, Bukola Saraki has splashed the sum of fifty thousand dollars which is equivalent to 18 Million Naira ahead of the Super Eagles ahead of their clash with England. Gernot Rohr’s men were held to a 1-1 draw by Congo DR on Monday and will continue their preparations for the World Cup with a friendly versus the Three Lions on Saturday. In a mini event held at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel, Abuja on Tuesday evening, the country’s top lawmaker lauded the team for their sense of commitment while urging them to soar high in Russia. Saraki encouraged the Super Eagles by saying, “I have been following the performances and general behaviour of this squad. I must confess that I am very impressed. We no longer have schisms and different camps in the same camp, and you sacrifice a lot for the country without demanding so much before you go to battle.
