Fuji music star, Adewale Ayuba is urging the Nigerian government to prevent obscene contents in the music industry.
The “Ijo Fuji” singer acknowledged that the sensual videos and songs are affecting children negatively, and the administration should urgently constitute functional Censors Board to halt the ‘insane behaviour.”
“This is not too late, let the government come up with a board that will be functional and halt this insane behaviour among musicians,” Ayuba told NAN. “Government should constitute a functional Censors Board that will ensure that every music is scrutinised before it is released into the market.”
Ayuba further admitted the National Film and Video Censors Board had failed in its duties to ban music with negative contents and obscene views over the years. “These obscene videos and songs have been affecting children negatively,” he adds. Ayuba is more popular for his songs including “Ijo Fuji,” and “Happy People.”
