#FreeEromosele: Heavy Police Presence As Protester Arrive Court For Trial

A Lagos-based Nigerian youth Eromosele Adene has been arraigned before a Yaba Magistrates Court for his involvement in the nationwide #EndSARS protests.
The young man was arrested from his home by a team of policemen, and flown to Abuja where he was detained for 8 days. He was, however, transferred back to Lagos and is set to face trial today.
As reported by Pulse, heavy Police presence was deployed at the Court where Eromosele Adene’s case is to be heard, and journalists are currently barred from entry. Commotion had also sparked earlier when the Police barred some members of the public from access into court premises.

Speaking to newsmen, Eromosele Adene’s mother noted that she stands with the Soro Soke Generation, a protesting is a fundamental right of every Nigerian, and at such, her son must be released.
