Amidst the troubles and happenings in the world currently, singer and songwriter, Lami Phillips has advised all and sundry to fight for the stability of this world as this is the only one we have.
Taking to her Instagram page, the singer wrote that the world seems to be taking a lot of wrong steps lately, but it has become imperative for everyone to work together to find answers to the present malady.
Lami Phillips wrote “Heal the world… we have no other one to live in. Sometimes we think we know; and we know not. There is PRIDE that goes before a fall.. the world seems to be falling and lacking “character”.. why is kindness so difficult. Why is foolish pride instructing our actions.
“On a small scale it’s in how you treat people; in how you insist on being right. Pride is concerned with who is right. Humility, wisdom and character are concerned with “what is right”.
“On a larger scale.. foolish pride is in thinking that your position, title or class, race.. demand that you treat another human without respect or honour. Many of us are one step away from the very thing that we hate or judge, because we lack integrity of character.

“Our hearts are not pure and so we pride ourselves into a fall. Look, this world is what we have. Your world ; family, friends ,community.. that’s what you have.. it’s like a bank account.. you can’t spend what you don’t deposit.
“Check yourself today; you might be part of the problem or the problem in and of itself. Check yourself today.. are you part of the problem or part of the solution. Have sense.”
