A technical glitch by the organizers of Headies 2018 turned out to a viable source for heavy weight criticism, as several Nigerians have criticized the organizers of rigging the award in favour of Yemi Alade, at the expense of Tiwa Savage.
It all happened when Ebuka Uchendu announced Yemi Alade as the winner of the Best Performer of the Year while Tiwa Savage’s name appeared on the screen. See more reactions below:

Though Yemi Alade was presented with the award as announced, several social media users have criticized the organizers of the show, for what they described as a redefined form of rigging.
