He Called Me A Whore And Prostitute And Apologised When He Saw My Wedding Ring – Actress Osamein Shares Experience

For a few days, the streets of Twitter has seeing its users share their moments of disrespect and how the disrespecters come back to the best behaviours when they realise the people they have disrespected are not single but married.
The discussion began after a Twitter influencer Sansa tweeted that women are usually not respected until they are married and essentially belong to a man. Many tweeps, however, trolled and called her crazy, saying that women are respected irrespective of their marital status.
Taking to the microblogging site to share her experience, actress Yewande Osamein shared a video of a man aggressively addressing her after and then apologising after seeing her wedding ring. According to the actress, the man had called her a whore and prostitute earlier. The man confirmed guilty to the accusation, stating that he thought the set on which Yewande was is a location for whores.

“To every man saying women are respected regardless of their marital status. I’d just like to say a man RANDOMLY called me a whore and a prostitute & told me I’m dirty a few days ago…then he apologised when he saw my wedding band. I sat in my car and cried for a bit”, she wrote. Photos Credit: Getty
