Hartley Sawyer Fired From “The Flash” Over Racist And Misogynistic Tweets

Hollywood star Hartley Sawyer has been fired from the Flash TV show following his Racist and Misogynistic tweets which he put out a few days ago. The TV star put out a few tweets supporting sexual abuse and rape.The CW network today put out a statement informing the general public that the actor who plays the character of the elongated man will not be returning to the show.

“Hartley Sawyer will not be returning for Season 7 of The Flash. In regards to Mr. Sawyer’s posts on social media, we do not tolerate derogatory remarks that target any race, ethnicity, national origin, gender, or sexual orientation. Such remarks are antithetical to our values and polices, which strive and evolve to promote a safe, inclusive and productive environment for our workforce.”


Producers of the flash have also issued an official statement backing the announcement and according to them they will not support racism or sexual abuse. They explained that their show is a family one and for them they need to preach love and support.
Sawyer has also issued a public apology via his Instagram page and said he was not knowledgeable enough so he said the wrong things and he is sorry for his statements.
