The Chairman of Nigeria’s anti-graft agency, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission EFCC, Abdulrasheed Bawa, has warned Nigerian youths against perpetrating crimes.
In a statement delivered to corps members at some orientation camps across the country on Wednesday, September 8, 2021, Abdulrasheed Bawa insisted that the harsh economic condition of the country is not an excuse for youths to resort to crime.Noting that youth are the the biggest culprits committing economic crimes, the EFCC Boss implored them to join the agency in stopping corruption and economic crimes in the nation, adding that internet fraud is not a sustainable way of life.

He rather, asked the youths to embrace hard work in the stead of lamenting that things are not right with the country. “The fact that the rate of unemployment is high should not be an excuse to resort to crimes.
