Manchester United has announced English defender Harry Maguire as it’s new full-time captain by the club’s manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. David De Gea was the stripped off the captaincy some months back after an EPL defeat against Newcastle United where De Gea criticized the club’s ambitions. 
The new Man United captain was announced today ahead of united’s game against top of table the runaway leaders Liverpool. But this decision has come under serious scrutiny and protest, generating a lot of reactions on Twitter.
United fans are kicking against David De Gea being stripped of the captaincy not supporting Ole Gunnar Solskjaer decision to name Harry Maguire the club’s new captain.
The boss also confirmed that @HarryMaguire93 will continue to wear the #MUFC captain’s armband.
