Governor Nyesome Wike of Rivers state has eased the 24 hours curfew placed on the Oyigbo local government area. The governor placed the curfew on the LGA following the clash between security agents and IPOB members.
The Governor made the announcement via his official Twitter handle and stated that the curfew in the LGA will now be between 7pm to 6am. He said efforts are still ongoing to recover the 50 rifles stolen during the attack.
