Oyo state governor Seyi Makinde was one of the peaceful protesters at the June12protest held in Ibadan today. The June 12 protest which was held nationwide saw Nigerians step out in mass to demand security, better life, and their constitutional right at a civil protest in their demands from the government.
Today in Ibadan Seyi Makinde joined the protesters and appealed to them to maintain a peaceful protest as they demand better from the government. In a video shared on social media, the governor could be seen speaking to the public. A mixed reaction has trailed his presence at the protest while some applaud him for being a good leader others claimed it was a way to cajole the people ahead of his second term bid.
