Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has approved a N100 flat rate increment in bus fares for all Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) and Standard Routes in the state.
Bus Rapid Transit is a mode of transportation that Lagosians have got used to as it has helped them save transport fair since its inception. Lagos is known as a mega city and it is commendable of the government to make life in the state easy.

This was confirmed in a statement issued by the Assistant Director, Corporate Communication, Lagos Metropolitan Area Transport Authority (LAMATA), Mr Kolawole Ojelabi, in Lagos on Thursday, June 30, 2022.

Sanwo-Olu said the increase which will take effect from July, 13, 2022, was to sustain the operations of regulated bus services in Lagos State, NAN reports. Many are yet to comment.
