The internet was up with excitement upon the discovery that the Nigerian currency “Naira” has appreciated to an exchange rate of one dollar to 184 naira as against 360 that it was. However, Google Africa in a tweet has confirmed this as an error saying,
 ‘we’re aware of an issue causing inaccurate conversions for Nigerian Naira currency, so we will remove the conversion onebox from appearing in search results until we are able to diagnose the issue’. The issue has now been fixed as a  dollar, is now equivalent to 361.75 naira.
