PDP’s Governor, Ibrahim Dankwambo, has lost his senatorial bid to All Progressive Congress candidate, Senator Saidu Akali in the Gombe North senatorial district election.Dr Umar Gurama, of Federal University, Kashere, 
 declared the winner in the early hours of today. Senator Akali won the election, polling a total of 152,546 votes to emerge the winner of the race.
