Friends of Nollywood actor Baba Ijesha have opened a GoFundMe account for the actor to help cover his legal expenses. The actor has been charged with assaulting a minor and the court case is presently ongoing.
The fundraiser titled, ‘Help Olanrewaju Omiyinka with Legal Costs’ was organized by Oladele Matti who resides in Dublin, Ireland. While the target of the fundraiser is €50,000, they have experienced a low turn out as they have so far raised €20 since the account was opened about nine hours ago.
According to the Info on the GoFundMe page, it was opened to support the actor so he can get a fair hearing. A lot of Nigerians have reacted to this condemning the move and also mocking fans and friends of the actor.
