GMB’s Alex Beresford Quits Social Media, Says Racist Messages Are Too Much

Good Morning Britian’s Host Alex Beresford has said he is quitting social media amidst the ‘relentless racist abuse’ resulting from his on-air spat with former co-star Piers Morgan.
Recall that Alex Beresford had chided Piers on live TV for always criticising Meghan Markle and never finding anything good in whatever she does. This led to Piers Morgan walking away on set and eventually resigned from his job.

Following the dramatic conformation he was faced with by Piers on set, the 40-year-old Beresford, who is also called the weatherman revealed in his writing for Telegraph that the racism he has endured online since defending Meghan has forced him to step away from the social media space. Beresford added that he has, however, not announced his quit yet.

“I haven’t announced it (like the former Arsenal player Thierry Henry did this week when he publicly quit social media, in response to anonymous racist bullying) but I have been forced to step away from Twitter and Facebook myself, because it was getting too much.
