#GirlPower: Tobi Amusan Becomes The First Ever Nigerian To Win Gold At The Commonwealth Games

The mind-blowing Nigerian Commonwealth Games team recorded another milestone today as Oluwatobiloba Amusan made history by becoming the first ever Nigerian to win gold at the Commonwealth Games 100m hurdles.
The 20-year-old U.S based Tobi literally made the other runners chase her shadow as she came out on top of the world, with 12.68 seconds at the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games.
Tobi is the current American Collegiate 100m champion, the new milestone has placed her on a path to be the next Chioma Ajunwa, as her gold becoming Nigeria’s 8th at the games, lifting the Nigerian team to 8th on the medals table.
