Ghana’s High Commissioner to the UK and Ireland Papa Owusu Ankomah has also tested positive to the Coronavirus.
The announcement of his test result broke yesterday 10th April, with reports that his wife had earlier shown symptoms of the viral disease and has been quarantined.
According to reports, Owusu has been sent to the intensive care unit (ICU) of one of the Royal Hospitals, where he is responding to treatment. Read also: Ghana Extends Coronavirus Lockdown
The United Kingdom has so far recorded over 70,000 Coronavirus cases with almost 9,000 deaths and a few recoveries, among of which are Prime Minister Boris Johnson and the Prince of Wales, Prince Charles.
