Gernot Rohr says he’s not worried over his team’s defeat against Czech Republic.

The Super Eagles lost 1-0 to Czech on Wednesday (June 6) in their final warm up match ahead of the 2018 FIFA World Cup. “We’ve 9 days to be ready for our 1st match vs Croatia, as at today we are not ready. I am not sad because of this result, the result that matters will be in Russia,” Rohr said in a statement by he Nigerian Football Federation (NFF).

Rohr recently revealed that the Russian girlfriends won’t be allowed in the Super Eagles World Cup camp in Bad Tatzmannsdorf, Austria. “I won’t allow them (Super Eagles players) to have Russian girls, no, no, no. Only captain Mikel who has a Russian partner can come with her,” he said. “The players can have their wives and family come to visit them at the World Cup. Each player will have a room to himself so the family can come on days when we are not preparing for games or on matchdays.”  Nigeria face Argentina, Croatia and Iceland in group D.
