World Cup 2018: German Goalkeeper, Manuel Neuer Returns To Training After Six Months Injury

Germany was handed another chance to defend their World Cup title as their number one goalkeeper, Manuel Neuer, returned to light training today after being ruled out of football for six months due to a fractured foot.
The Bayern Munich shot stopper celebrated his 32nd birthday with a few laps around Bayern training ground. Neuer raised the hopes of fans this afternoon when he shared a video on his Facebook account of him stepping out to training with the caption “Wonderful! The first time out.”
In his absence, Bayern Munich have struggled to find their feet at the goal post. Hopefully the former world best goalkeeper will restore their spirits with his triumphant return.
