Veteran Nigerian actress, Georgina Onuoha broke down in tears in an emotional Facebook video on Tuesday as she appealed to Nigerian celebrities to join the fight against slave trade in Libya.
In the video, the star actress was very emotional as she reacted to reports of the slave trade currently happening in Libya, particularly as it affects Nigerians. She called out her Nollywood colleagues who have not used their high status in the media to condemn the inhumane practice.
Georgina is the first Nigerian actress to take a stance against slave trade in Libya. She joins the list of other global celebrities that have spoken against the practice.
