President Bola Tinubu on Wednesday assigned portfolios to ministers who will serve in his cabinet after weeks of suspense.

Tinubu appointed Nyesom Wike, a former governor of Rivers State and a member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) as minister of the Federal Capital Territory.

Another former governor, Dave Umahi was named the Minister of Works while Wale Edun was named the Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy.

Other notable names in the cabinet are Festus Keyamo, Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, former Zamfara governor, Bello Matawalle who was appointed Minister of State Defence and former Plateau governor, Simon Lalong, Minister of Labour and Employment.
