Four Officers Killed In Knife Attack At Paris Police Headquarters

At least four people have been killed in a knife attack at the police headquarters in Paris, according to French media.

The attacker – who was reportedly a member of staff – was shot dead at the scene. The Cite Metro station, near the scene of the attack, has also been shut down for security reasons.

The attack is believed to have happened at about 1pm local time at the police building – located just across fromNotre Dame Cathedral.

The motive for the attack is unclear. France’s interior minister and the Paris prosecutor were heading to the scene.
