 Former Chairman of Independent Corrupt Practice and other related Offences Commission (ICPC) and former President of the Court of Appeal, Mustapha Akanbi, has died. According to reports, Akanbi passed on in the early hours of today June 3rd at a private hospital in Ilorin. 
Akanbi was born in September 1932, and called to the English Bar in 1963. In 1964, he was called to the Nigerian Bar before he joined the Ministry of Justice where he became a Senior State Counsel in 1968.state after a brief illness. He was 85 years old. He will be buried today at 12pm today at his GRA residence Ilorin. May his soul rest in peace, Amen.  Photo Credit: Getty
