Popular street sensational singer, Azeez Fashola popularly known as Naira Marley admonished Muslims To suspend betting during this Ramadan period.
Ramadan started officially Thursday 23rd, with faithful Muslims around the world keeping their stomach empty as a service to the Almighty Allah.

Muslims fast from immediately before the Fajr (sunrise) prayer to the Maghrib (sunset) prayer every day of the month.
During the 30 days of fasting Muslims are expected to abstain from food, drink, smoking, and sexual relations to improve one’s relationship with God.
Naira Marley who is known to be a prolific smoker, went on his social page to advise his fellow brothers in Islam to stay pure and holy during Ramadan.

The singer also admonished his brother-in-Islam to stop gambling. He told Muslims to forgo sports betting and sure odds in this auspicious month, admonishing them to fast instead.
“Bro leave that sure odds and forget betting..fast”
