US President Joe Biden has been pictured for the first time resuming at the Oval Office following his inauguration on Wednesday, January 20, 2020. Mr. Biden signed 17 executive orders, memorandums, and proclamations from the Oval Office on Wednesday afternoon.
Among the actions the president took was ordering the Paris Climate Accord and end Mr. Trump’s travel ban on Muslim and African countries. The president tweeted from the official POTUS account revealing that there was no time to waste in getting America back on track as the country it uses to be. He mentioned that he will work towards delivering bold and immediate relief for American families.

The swearing-in ceremony on Wednesday was a stark reminder of the uphill challenges that the new president faces in the office. Washington DC is surrounded by a ring of steel and troops reminiscent of a war zone following an insurrectionist siege at the US Capitol by a pro-Trump mob earlier this month.
