FIRS Chairman Elected As Vice-Chairman United Nation Committee Of Tax Experts

The Chairman, of Nigeria’s top Revenue generation agency (Federal Inland Revenue Service), William Babatunde Fowler, has been elected as the 1st Vice Chairman of United Nations Committee of Experts on International Cooperation in Tax Matters.
This election took place on Tuesday in Geneva, Switzerland, where the global UN committee of tax experts is held its meeting. The result of the election was announced by United Nation Secretary General, Antonio Guteress.
Tunde was appointed with 25 other individuals to offer professional advice to the United Nations on global tax management and international development.
