Another popular foam market in Mushin area of Lagos has been gutted by fire, leaving business owners devastated and in debts.
The fire was said to have begun at about 1pm at 16, Ladipo Street in Mushin, as revealed by the spokesperson for the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency LASEMA, Nosa Okunbor. According to him, there was no casualty recorded yet but search and rescue operations are ongoing. “LRT led by the DG/CEO LASEMA, Olufemi Oke-Osanyintolu, officers of the Nigerian Police, LASG Fire, LRU Fire, LNSC are responders at the scene working together to curtail the inferno from escalating to more adjoining buildings. Rescue operation ongoing“, Punch reported.
