The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Geoffery Onyeama, has reacted to the viral video showing shops of Nigerian traders in Ghana being locked up by the authorities. Nigerians took to social media to condemn the actions of the authorities, accusing them of making life unbearable for Nigerians residing in their country.
The foreign minister took to his Twitter page to condemn the action and explained that the federal government is already taking necessary steps to address the situation. The Ghanaian government has also reacted to the closure of shops and explained the reason behind the action.
