The federal government today announced the easing of lockdown in Kano state which was put in place due to the coronavirus pandemic. The Chairman of the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19, Boss Mustapha, made this known during the daily press briefing.
They said the easing of the lockdown in the state is the phase one of the three phases of the easing of the lockdown restriction in the state. He said the easing of the lockdown is not for people to loose guard as the battle against the pandemic still continues. “This is still a fight for life and our advancement to phase two does not mean that COVID-19 has ended. It is still potent and highly wasteful of human lives. I implore all Nigerians and corporate citizens to take responsibility and play the expected role.
