Nigerian OAP, dancer and descendant of the Ransome-Kuti family Yeni Kuti has opined that the journalist whom former Minister of Aviation Femi Fani-Kayode FFK embarrassed should have stood up to him against insult.
Yeni said this on TVC’s Your View with Morayo Brown on Wednesday, showing her displeasure with the journalist fretting out and apologising incessantly when FFK started lashing out at him.First reacting to his outburst, Yeni is of the opinion that the former Minster has a skeleton in his cupboard which is why he reacted the way he did. She noted that she would have laughed at such question if she was asked as she has no skeleton in her cupboard but he did as he may be hiding something. After a guest who called into the show then pointed at the journalists’ attitude during the backlash, Yeni Kuti then buttressed on the point, noting that the young man should have stood up to FFK and not condone insult on his personality and career. She then gave an advice at the end of the discussion that young men of the press should man up in such situations.
