‘Shame On You!, You Betrayed Matawalle’ – FFK Slams Zamfara State Deputy Gov Mahdi Gusau

Former Minister of Aviation, and a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode (FFK) has taken to his Twitter page to slam the Deputy Governor of Zamfara State, Mahdi Aliyu Muhammad Gusau, for refusing to decamp with his boss Governor Bello Matawalle to the national ruling party the All Progressive Congress.

FFK in his post called Mahdi Gusau a betrayer, who has no loyalty. Working against the better judgement of the Governor who picked him as his deputy but would work against him and stay back at the PDP.

Gusau also decried plans by the state assembly to impeach him despite a court order stopping such moves.

Reacting Fani-Kayode questioned why a Deputy Governor would refuse to decamp with his Governor.FFK: Zamfara State Deputy Governor Mahdi Gusau and Femi Fani-Kayode

FFK tweeted:
“When a Governor decamps from one party to another shouldn’t his Deputy go with him? Is that not what loyalty is all about?
“Against his better judgment @Bellomatawalle1 picked you as his running mate & made you Deputy Governor & now you undermine & betray him? Shame on you!”
